Planning a wedding is like having another full-time job.

☑ your Aunt Jane is telling you that she can plan and run your wedding.

☑ you have 43 tabs open about best etiquette when it comes to sending out your invitations.

☑ you’re a little worried you’re going to forget something or do something wrong.

☑ you can’t figure out how the HECK to write your wedding timeline so everything flows smoothly.

☑ and you have no clue how you’re going to be able to actually enjoy your wedding day.

You also realize you only have 24 hours in a day. And you still have a life.

If you could partner with an experienced and affordable Wedding Planner who guides you through the ENTIRE planning process (not just a couple months out from the wedding...), you’d know that your wedding would be well taken care of.

 Because, let’s face it—the wedding industry changed in 2020 & 2021.

Things are NOT the same.

With venues setting more and more regulations, with vendors being booked way more quickly than they were before, with caterers having new styles of food service, and with guests being a little more wary of large crowds, there’s a lot to navigate now when it comes to planning your wedding.

Why try to figure out how to make everything work together seamlessly by yourself?

That’s where we come in.

Keeping Brides Calm

“Amazing! Crystal pulled everything together to make my wedding the best day of my life. She even handled my tough family dynamics while keeping me calm the entire time. My only regret was not hiring her earlier in my wedding planning process.”

The Investment

I mean, you could keep doing this on your own…

You could keep trying to navigate Pinterest and Instagram, sweat forming on your forehead every time someone gives you their opinion about what you should or should not be doing, hoarding blog posts and how-to guides for reference… all while trying to juggle your job/school, life, fiancé, family, friends, hobbies, and self-care.

Or…

You could have the help and expertise from a team who has been in this industry for a combined 32 years… who have planned, coordinated, and produced over 500 weddings with budgets from $15K to $150K.

Our 2022 Wedding Management Package starts at $2200.

If you’re trying to figure out if this works in your wedding budget, we get it. So here’s a little tip and insider info: Most couples spend 8-10% of their wedding budget on their Wedding Planner.

While we aren’t your full-service wedding planner, we aren’t strictly doing “Day-Of” Coordination, either. So our pricing maybe a smidge higher than some other “Day-Of” Coordinators, but you’re getting wayyyyyy more services from us.

There’s truly no catch. We just saw a hole in the industry that needed to be filled, so we filled it.

We will help you like you’re our sister… which means we don’t just work with anyone.

Plus, we can only take a limited number of weddings per year, so to respect your time (and ours), let’s hop on a call to see if we’re a good fit for each other.

We do tend to book out early… mainly because Wedding Management, while highly requested by engaged couples, isn’t offered at this pricing very often. So don’t sleep on this too much ;)

What are you waiting for? Let’s set up a time to chat!

Boutonniere for Wedding

Her advice gave us big improvements

“Because she has done a hundred (maybe a thousand) weddings, she knows what she’s doing. And we learned something every step of the way. She was always right in every piece of advice she gave us… which ultimately gave us big improvements in the wedding. Plus—because she knows every vendor in Greenville, she can call in the right resources to make your vision work. She’s fantastic.”

-Lee M., Mother of the Bride

Go ahead...

Let us be your itinerary mastermind… your champagne popper… your “person” to make sure you don’t forget anything.

And then on the wedding day?

While you’re getting glammed up with your besties? We’ll be making sure everything gets set up.

We’ll make sure your dad shows up on time for photos.

We’ll make sure you have some privacy during your First Look.

We’ll straighten your veil and train before you walk down the aisle (and likely tear up a little).

We’ll hold any late guests back so they don’t interfere with you walking down the aisle.

We’ll make sure your guests know exactly where to go for Cocktail Hour, while making sure your photographer has everyone they need for photos.

During your Reception, we’ll hand-in-hand with your DJ/Band and Caterer to make sure the rest of the night is pulled off without a hitch.

FAQs

  • Day-Of Coordination is honestly a bit of a misleading term. There’s no way any professional Wedding Planner can only work for you for one day and pull everything off smoothly and seamlessly. There’s a ton of work that needs to be done before your wedding day, and your Wedding Planner needs to know everything that’s going on…before the wedding day. So… as Wedding Managers, we are still going to do all of the tasks typically listed under a Coordinator’s job description, but we do SO MUCH MORE. We offer unlimited email communication from the moment you hire us. That way, if you have a question or need advice, you can shoot your Wedding Planner an email and ask away. That means you don’t have to wait until 4-6 weeks before your wedding date to talk to us (that’s the typical timeframe a Day-Of Coordinator and Month-Of Coordinator will start working with you and talking to you). If we wait until that close to your wedding date, there may have been some bad decisions made that you didn’t even know were bad decisions. It’s ok to not know everything in and out of the wedding world as a bride or groom. It’s ok that you’re not the expert. You’re not supposed to be. That’s why we do what we do.

  • For simplicity—for both you and us. No smoke and mirrors. No need to cherry-pick your way through our planning services. What you see is what you get—you get all the services listed. Plus, we want to provide a service that fills a gap in our area’s industry.

  • The earlier you are able to book our services, the better. This way you get the most out of your investment with us—your customized Planning Lounge of planning tools, monthly check-ins, a custom preferred vendor list, and a budget analysis. We highly recommend booking our services anywhere from 8-12 months out from your wedding date.

  • Ah, money. No one likes talking about it, but it’s a necessary evil when it comes to weddings. While there are average budgets, please keep in mind that we plan a variety of different types of weddings. Venues are different and include different things. Guest counts are an enormous range from 10 guests to 300+ guests. Catering styles dictate a lot of your budget. And then you have to think about all the decor, rentals, florals, stationery, etc. However, a typical Polished Weddings client budget is anywhere between $200-$1000 per guest. We work with all budgets, all guest list sizes, and all needs. We recommend reserving 8-10% of your total wedding budget for your Wedding Planner (this doesn’t include a Planner who is also serving as your Designer).

  • We will help advise on the latest trends and top decor vendors (rentals, florals, specialty rentals, stationery & paper goods, etc.). Our role as your Wedding Manager is to manage the wedding by overseeing each vendor and his/her responsibilities on your wedding day. We do ask that each of our clients hire professional and full-service vendors who will provide all necessary installation and teardown. While we won’t stand aimlessly by without lifting a finger, if we were to step in with our full focus on your decor, our attention would be taken away from being able to multi-task, manage all of your vendors, and make sure everything is timed and happens seamlessly according to the plans we have made for you.

  • We plan and produce a certain number of weddings each year. Once that number is reached, we are fully booked. We want to make sure we are not overworking ourselves because, ultimately, that means you don’t get the best of us.

  • That’s one of the beautiful things about our services! We work with you from the moment you book us. We will provide you with guidance from the get-go. We will be there for you for any questions you have throughout your planning process because we want it to be perfect for you.

  • As much as we love traveling, we focus our attention on the Upstate of South Carolina: Anderson, Greenville, Spartanburg, and the surrounding areas.

  • Absolutely! In fact, many of our clients do not live in South Carolina. We are used to working with couples who live far away. Our virtual planning suite of tools (in addition to email and Zoom) make it easy for us to work together.

  • Of course! We offer virtual evening meetings to support a stress-free planning experience. We understand that work schedules don’t always allow room for daytime wedding meetings, so we will work with you. We schedule meetings as late as 7:00 pm. Our schedules are typically busy on the weekends due to weddings, so weekend planning sessions are rare.
